The below video focuses on Leon Louw in conversation with Mannkal Scholar Jerome Leray at the World Conference on Market Liberalization in Bali, Indonesia from June 29 to July 3 2015. Leon Louw is a South African intellectual, author, speaker and policy advisor. He is the executive director and cofounder of the Free Market Foundation.
Covering inequality, poverty and Thomas Piketty, the first 16 minutes of the video focus on catastrophism, the rustle in the grass hypothesis, Paul Ehrlich, global warming, climate change and big government. This is followed by talks about Leon Louw’s gradual seven year journey to libertarianism and his concern for the poor. At 23 minutes Leray asks what advice Louw would give Louw’s 20-year-old self. He then asks Louw would recommend young scholars explore: the internet, cryptocurrencies, etc. He recommends young people do public speaking, networking, join civil societies and criticise government policies.
Anyone wishing to contact Leon Louw should do so through The Free Market Foundation website. Aerial bombardment and trench warfare are strategies used by the Free Market Foundation.
